Exam Eligibility

Certified Associate (IHRP-CA)

This level is for you if you are a HR student, a HR Administrator, or a HR professional with less than 3 years of HR experience.

Certified Professional (IHRP-CP)

This level is for you if you have more than 3 years of HR experience, responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and programmes to deliver HR services and operate the HR function. You must have at least 150 HR training hours. Consultants with equivalent working experience directly relevant to HR are also eligible.

Senior Professional (IHRP-SP)

This level is for you if you are a seasoned and experienced HR leader with more than 8 years of HR experience and 2 years of strategic experience (inclusive), responsible for leading a HR function, designing, and developing HR policies and programmes, and providing day-to-day guidance to your team for HR service delivery. You must have at least 150 HR training hours. Consultants with equivalent working experience directly relevant to HR are also eligible.

Certification Exams

There are two ways to take your certification exam. You have the option to take the exam at a Prometric Testing Centre or through a remotely proctored enabled location of your choice. You are required to use a laptop with a webcam, microphone, and a stable internet connection. The use of tablets, smartphones, and other mobile devices are strictly prohibited.

Prepare For Your Remote Exam

  • Review your appointment note to confirm your scheduled assessment date and time.
  • Please check to ensure your computer meets the technical requirements.
  • Do ensure that you have a clear, orderly, and well-lit room or workspace ready.
  • Your desk must be clear of any materials and electronic devices such as extended monitors, mobile devices, and hardcopy notes.
  • Please be ready 30 minutes prior to your appointed assessment time. Late arrival may impact your allotted exam time.
  • Please have a copy of the access code to access the assessment portal ready on hand.

 Prepare For Your Test Centre Exam

  • Review your appointment note to confirm your scheduled appointment date and time.

 

  • Review directions to the Test Centre prior to the assessment date. Do allow sufficient travel time including traffic, parking, locating the test centre, and checking in. Parking fees may apply subject to the location of the test centre.  Kindly note that Prometric does not validate parking.

 

  • Please arrive for your exam at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time.  If you arrive late for assessment without any valid reasons, you may be refused entry and exam fees may be forfeited.
  • Please bring your NRIC/Passport or any photo ID identification for verification on the assessment day.
  • Please also bring a printed copy of your email with the assessment details, which includes the access code on the assessment day.

Identification And Examination Requirements

You will be required to present one valid, government-issued photo ID (e.g., NRIC, passport). The identification document must contain your full name and your photograph. All other items must be locked in a locker for test security purposes (if you take your exam in a test centre) or removed from your testing area (if you take your test remotely).

The name on the identification must match the name that appears on your examination application. If there is a discrepancy, you must notify IHRP at hello@ihrp.sg at least 7 working days before the examination. Name changes or corrections cannot be made within 7 working days of the scheduled testing date. If you do not have your acceptable identification, you will not be permitted to take the exam.

 

Reschedule/Cancel Policy

In fairness to all candidates booking exam slots, you must reschedule/cancel your exam at least 5 working days before your appointment date.
