Prometric is committed to protecting its employees, contractors, and candidates from harm, including forced labor and human trafficking. This statement is published pursuant to legislation and guidance globally, including, but not limited to, the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Scotland) Act 2015, Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Criminal Justice and Support for Victims) Act (Northern Ireland) 2015, and the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 (US).
Prometric provides technology-enabled in-person and remote testing and assessment services to licensing and certification organizations, academic institutions, and government agencies around the world in over 160 countries.
Prometric has several policies and procedures in place to protect both individuals who sit for exams with Prometric and individuals within our supply chain, including employees, vendors, and contractors. These policies include our Safeguarding Policy and Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. Prometric provides annual education and training for all employees and vendors to ensure staff members know and follow our policies, procedures, and codes of conduct confidently and competently. We’ve implemented reporting channels and mechanisms for staff, contractors, and vendors to report concerns of suspected or potential harm or abuse. Prometric requires its vendors and contractors to comply with all applicable laws and to provide its services in accordance with the same standards of professional conduct and ethics promulgated by Prometric.
Prometric is committed to ensuring that all individuals who have contact with our business are safeguarded from forced labor and human trafficking and will report any concerns to the appropriate agencies for assistance.
Individuals with concerns are strongly encouraged to report them to their country’s respective law enforcement agencies or Prometric. Reports to Prometric can be made through our dedicated toll-free line (+1-844-901-1790) or prometric.ethicspoint.com.
