Information About PDMA

In order to take the New Product Development Professional (NPDP) certification exam, you are required to have an approved NPDP application and a valid Eligibility ID that is issued to you by the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA). You will not be able to schedule or sit for the NPDP exam without an Eligibility ID. Please allow 5 – 10 business days for your NPDP application to be processed and approved. Additional information on the NPDP application, preparation, and exam process can be found on PDMA’s website using the links below.

There are now two ways to take your exam. As a tester you have the option to take your exam either in a Prometric Testing Center or at a remote location of your choice where you must provide a computer with a camera, microphone and an internet connection.

Your Eligibility ID is still required to schedule your exam.

Scheduling your Exam

1. To schedule your exam at a Prometric Testing Center

To check test center availability in your area and make your appointment at a Prometric Test Center select the appropriate icon on left hand side under Test Center Exam.
