Due to a system upgrade, candidates are unable to apply for, or schedule/reschedule appointments for the CIW (Court Interpreter Written) exam between Monday, January 13, 2020 and Thursday January 16, 2020.
Testing will resume on Friday, January 17, 2020.
Candidates with existing appointments on or after Friday, January 17, 2020 should plan on attending.
Candidates with existing appointments who wish to change the date during this period will need to cancel the existing appointment.
Cancellation fees may be waived due to this inconvenience, as reschedule at this time is not possible.
On Friday, January 17, 2020 the new portal for candidate application and scheduling will become accessible on https://www.prometric.com/CACourtInt
Candidates who had previously completed an application will be provided updated instructions for logging into their application at that time, and normal scheduling will resume.
On Friday, January 17, 2020, scheduling for the March 2020 administration of the BIE (Bilingual Interpreter Exam) is expected to begin using this new portal.
