The ParaPro Assessment measures the skills and knowledge in reading, writing and math possessed by prospective and practicing paraprofessionals.
*If you are testing to become a licensed Paraprofessional in the State of Georgia, you will need to take the GACE Paraprofessional Exam – www.prometric.com/gaceparaprofessional.
There are 2 ways to take your ParaPro exam, either in a test center or remotely at home using Prometric’s ProProctor™ application. To take the ParaPro test at home, you must have a computer with a camera, an internet connection and the ability to install a lightweight app (prior to the test event). You will be able to take the test online while a Prometric proctor is overseeing the examination process remotely.

Your state may require your Social Security number (SSN) to apply your test scores to your certification request. Without your SSN, your certification may be delayed.

After scheduling your exam, please review your appointment confirmation email to ensure that you have the correct exam, date and time.
Rescheduling / Cancel Policies for the ParaPro Test
If you find that you must reschedule your exam appointment you must reschedule at least 3 full days prior to your test date; you will be charged a fee if you choose to reschedule or cancel your exam.
- 3 or more days in advance of the original exam appointment: US $42.50 fee
- Less than 3 days in advance of original exam appointment:
- No ability to reschedule/cancel exam, your $85 exam fees will be forfeited
You cannot retake a ParaPro Assessment within 28 days of your test date. The test may only be retaken on a date that is at least 28 days after the previous test date.
Exam Retake Guidelines
Exceptions are granted to candidates who have only seen less than 50% of the exam AND experienced a technical issue on test day. A center problem report (CPR) must be filed from the test center agent or a proctor indicating any interruptions that may prevent completion of the test to qualify for a retake in less than 28 days.
Results / Reprint Requests:
Unofficial score report will be emailed within 24-48 hours.
Official score report will be delivered to corresponding school indicated on the exam within 4-5 business days. For missing score reports, please contact our customer service department at 1-800-772-9476 and a member of the team can further assist you or send us an email at Parapro@ETS.org.
Unofficial scores can be retrieved from https://scorereports.prometric.com/
You can locate your unofficial scores with the 16-digit prometric confirmation number and your last name.
