Here are the basic steps to get you ready for your PHECC Examination.
1. Scheduling Your Test
A.) Schedule an exam in a Test Center
B.) Schedule for a Remotely Proctored exam
Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council and Prometric are pleased to announce the availability of the Paramedic and Emergency Medical Technician Exams - NQEMT Exams via Remotely Proctored testing using Prometric’s ProProctor™ application. This allows users to take their exams from home.
Please read the Remotely Proctored Exam User Guide carefully to understand all requirements before test day:
What you need to Test Remotely:
- Windows PC – Please Note: MAC is NOT suitable for your exam
You must use a Windows laptop or desktop computer. You cannot use your phone or tablet.
- Google Chrome
You must have the latest Google Chrome web browser for Windows installed. You cannot use any other type of web browser.
- Complete System Check, Download and Install Software Before Launching and Taking the Exam
Once software is downloaded and installed, your environment will be checked to ensure you are able to take your Test without issues.
You will receive an email confirmation with instructions for your appointment including a confirmation number. Record and keep this confirmation number for your records as you will need it to launch your exam.
