How to request a refund 

We understand that situations may arise where a refund is necessary. To request a refund for your exam fee, please complete the refund request form on this page. 

 

What to expect after requesting a refund 

  • Our team will carefully review your request within 7-10 business days of receipt. 
  • In some cases, additional information or documentation may be required, which could extend the review timeline. 
  • We kindly ask that you refrain from submitting refund requests by phone. 
     

Who to contact for refunds 

  • Submit a request for a refund using the form on this page if you paid fees to Prometric. 
  • If you paid fees to a testing sponsor, contact them directly to request a refund.  
  • Our team is unable to process or respond to requests for refunds on fees paid to testing sponsors. 

 

How refunds are issued 

  • Payments made by credit card will be refunded to the same card used for the initial transaction. 
  • All other forms of payment including money order or check (excluding credit card), will be refunded through ACH direct deposit to expedite the process. Checks are not issued for refunds. 

 

For Schools, Institutes, and Companies 

If you are a school, institute or company that paid an exam fee on behalf of a test taker, please provide a detailed explanation in the "Further Description" section of the refund request form.
