Zoom Text

Zoom Text is a screen magnification software. We currently use ZoomText version 9.1 which supports the following magnification ranges and levels:

  • Magnification Ranges: 1x–36x in whole unit increments (1x, 2x, 3x, etc.)
  • Magnification Levels: 20 Levels (using keyboard commands only)

The following ZoomText features are currently not available:

JAWS

JAWS ("Job Access With Speech") is Text to Speech, screen reading software that allows blind and visually impaired candidates to hear the exam read aloud. We currently use JAWS version 18 which supports the following features.

DRAGON speech recognition software supports candidates unable to type responses. Supported features are listed below.
