Welcome to the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) scheduling page for the Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE) credential exam.

Information on the CFLE credential and the CFLE exam application process can be found on the NCFR website.

There are now two ways to take the CFLE credential exam. Eligible candidates have the option to take the exam either at a Prometric Testing Center or through live remote proctoring from home or a secure, private location that is internet enabled.

Your eligibility ID is still required to schedule your exam.

Options for scheduling your exam (candidates must choose one option):

  1.  Schedule your exam at a physical Prometric Testing Center

Please review Prometric’s social distancing guidelines by clicking here.

Select the appropriate link on left hand side to get started.

  1.  Schedule a Remotely Proctored Exam

You must first confirm your computer’s compatibility to allow remote proctoring. Online, remote exams are offered using Prometric’s ProProctor™ application. For a remotely proctored exam, you must supply the computer which must have a camera, microphone and an internet connection and be able to install a lightweight app prior to the test event. You will be able to take the exam online while a Prometric proctor is overseeing the examination process remotely.

To confirm that your computer and network will allow testing through ProProctor™ click here.

Once this has been verified, click here to schedule your remote exam.
