Virginia Insurance
Important note: Effective February 19th, each candidate will need to create a new account to schedule an exam or modify an existing appointment. If you already have an existing profile prior to February 19th, in order to avoid a duplicate profile please use the link provided in welcome email.
Here are the basic steps to get you ready for your Virginia Insurance Exam.
1. Create or Login to Your Account
If you a first-time test taker before scheduling your test, please create an account or log into your existing account. To create an account, you must click here and follow the instructions below:
- Click on Create or Login to Your Account to register. You can immediately schedule your exam once you create your account or log in later to schedule your exam.
- If you choose to take your exam in a Test Center, then click on Schedule Test Center and follow the prompts.
- If you choose to take your exam in a Remotely Proctored locations, then click on Schedule Remote Proctor and follow the prompts.
- Select “VA” as your state.
- Select “Insurance” as the business type.
- Enter your social security number (SSN)
*if you are a candidate that does not have an account and you have an existing appointment and you need to make changes to your appointment you will need to create an account by clicking here.
PLEASE NOTE: you must have an account and select Virginia insurance test in order to schedule online.
A.) To schedule exam at a Test Center location
Once you are set up and logged into your account, you can schedule your test. Select the “Schedule Test Center” button. You then enter your Social Security Number/SSN and the first four letters of your last name to schedule your exam.
B.) To schedule for a Remotely Proctored Exam
You may schedule remotely proctored exam for your Virginia Insurance exams through your online account. Once you are set up and logged into your account, you can schedule your test. Select the “Schedule Remote Proctor” button. You then enter your Social Security Number/SSN and the first four letters of your last name. to schedule your exam.
In order to confirm your computer meets the technical specifications please perform a system check prior to scheduling your exam.
