Beginning Tuesday, March 11th, the Washington Department of Health and Prometric are pleased to announce the new online testing option for the English written/oral home care aide exam, remotely proctored by ProProctor™. Before scheduling to take your exam online, it is important to complete the following:
- Click on the link above and read ALL ProProctor Candidate Information.
- Review the ProProctor User Guide to see if the online exam option will work for you.
- Watch the video – this will provide you the requirements for your testing workspace and what to expect during your testing experience.
- Ensure that your laptop or desktop (Testing Device) meets the system and security check requirements and that you have downloaded the application. System checks are essential. Click here to check your system’s compatibility before you schedule your exam https://rpcandidate.prometric.com/
STOP – if you have not completed the above four items, do NOT schedule yourself for an online exam in order to avoid paying additional rescheduling fees. If you have completed these steps and do not qualify for online testing, please schedule your in-person knowledge exam in your Prometric Portal.
