About AP
College Board's Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) offers university-level courses and exams that students can take while in secondary school. Each AP course culminates in a standardized assessment, or AP Exam. Taking AP can help students stand out on university applications, earn qualifying credit and/or skip introductory courses at university, or graduate early. See AP benefits.
Most colleges and universities in the United States—plus many universities in the U.K., Canada, Singapore, Australia, and across Europe, the Middle East and Asia—consider AP participation favorably for admission, credit, or placement. Find institutions that recognized AP in the U.S. and outside the U.S.
Students who do not have access to authorized AP courses may self-study for AP Exams, which are administered at authorized AP schools and AP test centers every year in May. Advance registration by November prior to the testing year is recommended.
Authorized AP Test Center
Prometric is authorized by AP to administer the May 2026 AP Exams. All students, regardless of their country of residence or school they attend, are welcome to test with Prometric in Turkey.
Authorized AP test centers must follow AP’s standard exam administration and security policies. Each center determines which exams to offer and whether to allow late testing or retests. Registration fees, payment deadlines, and cancellation or refund policies are set by individual centers.
2026 AP Exam Schedule
AP Exams will be administered over three weeks in May: May 4-8 and May 11-15 for Regular Testing, and May 18-22 for Late Testing if students cannot test during the first two weeks of May. Early testing or testing at times other than those published by AP is not permitted under any circumstances.
Our center currently does not offer every exam during Regular and Late Testing.

Registration and Payment Policies
Before you begin the registration process, please review carefully all the policies below:
- Registration is a two-step process: first register for the exam in College Board’s My AP system, then pay for the exam through Prometric. You must use the same name and email address in both accounts and provide your unique AP ID (found in My AP) to Prometric at the time of payment.
- Payment must be received by Prometric by the published deadline to complete registration and reserve your seat.
- Each exam will only be ordered and a seat reserved if: (1) You register in My AP with a join code, and (2) Prometric receives payment by the deadline.
- Failure to complete both steps will result in no test seat and no refund. This includes cases where you register in My AP but do not pay Prometric, or pay Prometric without registering in My AP.
- Once registration and payment are completed, you cannot change the subject(s) chosen for the AP Exam(s).
- You cannot register for the same AP Exam at two testing sites.
- You may register for different AP Exams at more than one school or test center. For example, if Prometric's Turkey location does not offer an AP Exam you wish to take, you may register at another location where the exam is offered.
- IMPORTANT! You MUST use the same College Board account (same AP ID, legal name, email address) to register for all exams, even at different test centers. This ensures all scores are reported together. The legal name on the College Board student account must match the name on the ID you bring on exam day.
AP Testing Policies
