PLEASE NOTE: You are only allowed four attempts to pass an exam for a particular line of authority within a one-year period.  After a fourth unsuccessful attempt, you must wait one year from the date of the last attempt to retake the exam.

Before registering and scheduling for your exam, please review the Arizona Department of Insurance Licensing and Examination Information Handbook. This booklet will provide you with important information about the examination and licensing process for becoming licensed by the Arizona Department of Insurance  to sell or provide insurance services and products in Arizona. 

Register and Schedule Your Exam

Before scheduling your exam, please create an account or log into your existing account. To create an account you must:

  • Select your state,
  • Select “Insurance” as the business type, and
  • Enter your eligibility (SSN)

Once you are set up and logged into your account, you are able to schedule your exam. To do so, enter your eligibility (SSN) and the first four letters of your last name. NOTE: You must have an account and select your state’s insurance exam in order to schedule online.
