How to Become Eligible

Your Program Coordinator must submit your registration for your exam with the ACR, prior to you being eligible to schedule your testing appointment at a Prometric Testing Center.  Please carefully review the information contained in your Confirmation Notice.  If any of the information is incorrect or if the information has changed, please contact the ACR at: intrainingexam@acr.org.

There are now options to take your exam. As a candidate you have the option to schedule your exam either in a Prometric Testing Center or through a remotely proctored internet enabled location of your choice where you must provide a computer with a camera, microphone and an internet connection. Tablets, smart phones, and other mobile devices cannot be used to take the exam and are prohibited. To confirm your computer will allow you to test through ProProctor™ please click here to perform a system check prior to scheduling your exam.

Your 15-digit Eligibility ID number is still required to schedule your exam.

Option 1: Schedule an exam appointment at a Prometric Testing Center

Option 2: Schedule a Remotely Proctored Exam

Confirm your computer’s compatibility to allow remote proctoring first. Online, remote exams are offered using Prometric’s ProProctor™ application. For a remotely proctored exam, you must supply the computer which must have a camera, microphone and an internet connection and be able to install a lightweight app prior to the test event. Tablets, smart phones, and other mobile devices cannot be used to take the exam and are prohibited. You will be able to take the exam online while a Prometric proctor is overseeing the exam process remotely. Please know, a 15-minute timer is set when scheduling an exam appointment; please have a date/time available to avoid timing-out of the appointment scheduling process.
