Accommodations

Submit a request for the following accommodations ahead of your exam if you need these during your testing experience. Available accommodations may vary by region and exam. Please check with your test sponsor as their list may vary.

Trackball MouseLarge, finger-operated trackball for superior control and reduced hand and wrist movement.
Screen MagnifierMagnifying filters help reduce eyestrain and fatigue. Magnifies screen images more than 2x for easy viewing.
Touchpad MouseTouchpads are small squares that sense the position of the finger on them, and then move the cursor accordingly. Touchpads are stationary and require little force to use, and as a result they may help reduce stress on fingers, hands, arms and shoulders.
Intellikeys KeyboardContaining several different keypad layouts, these keyboards provide access for anyone with physical, visual or cognitive disabilities who has difficulty using a standard keyboard.
Ergonomic KeyboardKeyboard designed with ergonomic considerations to minimize muscle strain and related problems.
Noise Buster HeadsetCancels out stress-inducing background noise.
Satellite SpeakersSmall bookshelf speakers that amplify sound, must be scheduled in a separate room.
Anti-Glare ScreenPlastic screen fits over the computer monitor and reduces sun/light glare.
Left-handed MouseAllows left-handed test takers to test with comfort.
Adjustable Height TableTable adjusts up and down to assist in accommodating test takers for various needs, including wheelchair accessibility. Found in a separate room of select sites.
TimersProctors use to keep track of test taker exam time.
Bed TraysKeyboard elevation.
Headmaster MouseUsed for test takers with limited or no hand mobility.
Special Chair (Max. 500lbs)Chair with arms (Max 500lbs).
Sign Language InterpreterSigns directions and/or exam content.
InterpreterTranslates exams from one language to another verbally.
ReaderPersonnel that read aloud to the test taker.
Amanuensis/RecorderPersonnel sits with test taker and enters exam answers on test taker’s behalf. Requires separate room.
ProctorOversees examinee testing; keeps time.
