Allison Mulford, Esq. is Prometric’s Vice President of Legal Affairs. In this role she provides managerial oversight for all of Prometric’s legal matters globally. Included in her responsibilities are driving strategic growth through defined contract management processes, managing Prometric’s intellectual property portfolio, and advising the business on privacy/data protection trends so that it stays ahead of related legislation. Ms. Mulford also provides legal counsel for employment and labor relations matters, ensures the company remains in good standing with more than 25 legal entities operating in 180+ countries, and advises the business on risk mitigation strategies. Ms. Mulford has more than a decade of experience advising business teams in financial services, education, and testing industries, and serves as a member of Prometric’s Sales Compensation, Ethics, and Risk Management and Compliance Steering Committees.
Ms. Mulford holds Bachelor’s degrees in Management and Marketing from Coastal Carolina University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Towson University/University of Baltimore. She is also a Certified International Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP-E) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Ms. Mulford serves on multiple boards, including serving as the Vice Chair of the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) Security Committee (will move to Chair in one year); a Member/Contributing Author of the ATP International Privacy Subcommittee; a corporate member of the Women’s Bond Club; and on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland where she also serves on the Standards and Compliance Committee.
