CPBC – The College of Pharmacists of British Columbia

The College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (“the College”) is the regulatory body for pharmacies in British Columbia and protects the public by licensing and regulating pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and the pharmacies where they practice.

The Jurisprudence Examination (JE) is based on legislation, regulations and bylaws contained in federal and provincial acts, and Professional Practice Policies that pertain to pharmacy operations and pharmacy professional responsibilities.

Successful completion of the JE is required to register as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician in British Columbia.

In order to schedule your JE with Prometric, you must be first registered for the JE sitting through your CPBC eServices account, and have received a Jurisprudence Exam Registration Confirmation with your eligibility ID from the College. Eligible exam candidates may take the JE on-site at a Prometric Test Center or at a location of their choice (e.g. home) as a remotely proctored online exam.  Seats are limited for each sitting and must be reserved on a first come, first serve basis

Refer to the JE webpage on the College’s website for more information: https://www.bcpharmacists.org/jurisprudence-exam. If you have any further questions you may contact the Registration Department at: jeadmin@bcpharmacists.org.
