Texas Insurance Testing
Scheduling your appointment is a two step process
1) Register - Register with Prometric.
2) Schedule - Choose an available date and time to schedule your appointment.
Texas Insurance Testing Information and Downloads
Effective January 10, 2007: Due to recent changes in Texas law, all fingerprints required for a license with the Texas Department of Insurance will now be submitted electronically to the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for processing.
Fingerprint ink cards printed prior to 2007 will still be accepted; however, please allow an additional 3-4 weeks for processing.
Appointments for fingerprint services at a Prometric location can be made with Integrated Biometric Technology at 888-467-2080 or online at www.iisfingerprint.com. Each individual will be required to pay fingerprint fees of $44.20 to cover processing costs. Appointments for examinations can be made on this site or via phone toll-free at 866-267-0455.
