Thomson Prometric’s World Business Review Appearance Available Online

BALTIMORE, MD. Feb. 02, 2005 – Thomson Prometric, the global leader in technology-enabled testing and assessment services and part of The Thomson Corporation (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC), today announced the online availability of its World Business Review televised appearance, hosted by General Alexander Haig.  The segment focuses on how organizations use computer-based testing services to measure learning and prove ROI.  Michael Brannick, Thomson Prometric president, interviews with General Haig.

The televised segment is available in, http://www.prometric.com/PressRoom/KnowledgeCenter/default.htm.

According to Joe Bianco, Associate Producer of World Business Review, Thomson Prometric was a natural selection for the television show in light of its emergence as a leader in test development, test delivery and data management. “Testing and assessment are a critical element of the learning lifecycle – not just a checkpoint after learning is complete.  Collaboration between an organization and its test delivery partner are of the utmost importance.  Only through ongoing communication and trust will an organization be able to accurately gauge performance and make effective business decisions,” said Bianco.
