Thomson Prometric and SAS Renew Global Agreement

BALTIMORE, MD. JUNE 8, 2004 - Thomson PROMETRIC, THE GLOBAL LEADER IN TECHNOLOGY-ENABLED TESTING AND ASSESSMENT SERVICES, and part of The Thomson Corporation (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC), and SAS, the leader in business intelligence, today announced that they have signed a three-year contract renewal for Thomson Prometric test development and test delivery services.  These test delivery services include the use of Thomson Prometric’s Internet-based testing solution and delivery through the Thomson Prometric global testing center network.

Thomson Prometric’s Internet-based testing solution provides reliable exam delivery, full eCommerce support, immediate scoring and a robust Web-based reporting tool.  It is the most effective method available for authoring, publishing and delivering computer-based exams. 

On average, 2,000 SAS technology certification exams are delivered annually worldwide.
