BALTIMORE, MD. June 2, 2008 – Prometric, the leading global provider of technology-enabled testing and assessment services and the leading sponsor of NAFSA's 2008 Overseas Educational Advisors Travel Grant program, is pleased to announce that 13 individuals have been awarded this year's grants. The grants, provided by Prometric and other organizations, have enabled educational advisors from 13 different countries to stay abreast of the latest in education by sponsoring their travel to the U.S. for NAFSA's annual conference and exhibition.

Giving international educational advisors access to professional development opportunities helps them effectively advise and guide international students looking to study in the U.S., a population that is a growing market opportunity for U.S. colleges and universities. The travel grants are awarded annually and are obtained through a competitive application process which includes an essay and a letter of endorsement.
