Will utilize ‘Intelitest,’ Prometric’s Proprietary Item Development and Banking Solution
BALTIMORE, MD. May 22, 2007 – Prometric, the global leader in technology-enabled testing and assessment services, today announced that IBM, a world leader in innovation, development and manufacture of the industry's most advanced information technologies, has signed an agreement with Prometric for the provision of all certification test publishing and test delivery services on a global basis. Additionally, IBM will utilize Intelitest, Prometric’s proprietary item development and item banking solution, to assist in creating and managing the content of its global certification exams.
Prometric’s IntelitestTM system allows IBM to track and automatically report on the number of items written by author, content outline inventory by author, number of items internally or externally approved by author and an item’s statistical characteristics.
