Prometric Sr. VP Elected to Chair Hospice
Board of Directors
Baltimore, Md. – September 9, 2003 – Prometric, a part of The Thomson Corporation (TSX: TOC; NYSE: TOC), the global leader in technology-enabled testing and assessment services, today announced that Jeffery L. McKnight, Sr., Prometric Senior Vice President of global operations, has been elected to Chair of the Board of Directors for Hospice of the Chesapeake, Anne Arundel County’s largest and most comprehensive provider of hospice and bereavement services.
Hospice of the Chesapeake provides medical, nursing, social work, and spiritual and bereavement care to people with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones throughout Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties.
“I’m honored to extend my role with the Hospice of the Chesapeake,” said Jeff. “I look forward to helping continue the excellence in serving our constituents that Hospice has become known for, while expanding my services to more and more patients. It is truly a rewarding organization.”
Jeff is also a member of the Board of Leadership Anne Arundel County. He was also one of the founders and Board Chairman of the Neighborhood Leadership Academy. The Academy was established to identify potential leaders within various underprivileged neighborhoods of Anne Arundel County and train them in a one-year leadership program. He has also served on the Board of the Red Cross of Maryland.

Jeff joined Prometric in November 2001. He brought more than 35 years of experience in information systems, telecommunications, automation services management, operations, sales and marketing, to lead Prometric’s global sales and testing center networks.
