Thomson Prometric and Citrix Renew Exclusive Agreement to Provide Testing Services for Certified Professionals

 

Baltimore, Md. – January 27, 2004 – Thomson Prometric, the global leader in technology-enabled testing and assessment services and part of The Thomson Corporation (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC), and Citrix Systems, Inc., (Nasdaq: CTXS), the global leader in access infrastructure solutions, today announced the renewal of their agreement under which Thomson Prometric exclusively provides Citrix comprehensive certification testing services.  These testing services include test taker scheduling and registration, test development, data management, Internet-based test delivery and proctored testing through Thomson Prometric's global testing center network.

 

Citrix has four certification programs: Citrix Certified AdministratorTM (CCA), Citrix Certified Enterprise AdministratorTM (CCEA), Citrix Certified Sales ProfessionalTM (CCSP) and the recently launched Citrix Certified Integration ArchitectTM (CCIA).  To date, more than 50,000 Citrix certifications have been achieved worldwide.

As part of the agreement renewal, Thomson Prometric and Citrix will broaden their business relationship to include various cooperative marketing initiatives to grow the Citrix certification program.  These initiatives include adding a Citrix presence on www.prometric.com and collaboratively creating case studies for the industry.

Citrix recently updated its technical and sales certification programs to support the Citrix® MetaFrame® Access Suite.  The updated programs are designed to facilitate training and certification on all products and technologies in the suite, which includes Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server, Citrix MetaFrame Secure Access Manager, Citrix MetaFrame Password Manager and Citrix MetaFrame Conferencing Manager.
