NCARB will increase the fees for the ARE by $40 per division effective October 1, 2009. The new rate of $210 per division will take place on October 1, 2009. All exams scheduled on or after October 1, 2009 will be at the new rate. Prior to October 1, 2009, candidates can schedule future exam appointments through December 31, 2009 at the current rate of $170 per division.
Notice: Cancellation of an appointment is NOT permitted. If you cancel an exam, regardless of the reason, your testing fee is non-transferrable and non-refundable.

Voucher Policy Update
Current vouchers for ARE 3.1 examinations will expire when the holder of the voucher is transitioned to the ARE 4.0. Please contact ARE Operations at 800-896-2272 for information about how you can convert your current voucher to an ARE 4.0 voucher. You will need to return your current voucher(s) and a certified check/money order for any additional funds required. All new vouchers will be valid for one year only from date of purchase.
