ATTENTION: An enhanced and updated MECP Basic Installation Technician Study Guide is scheduled to be released on January 1, 2010. A new Basic Installation Technician exam will become active on February 1, 2010. During the January 1 – January 31 timeframe, test takers will only be offered the old version of the MECP exam. After February 1, only the new exam will be active and will contain questions based on material only available in the new Basic Installation Technician Study Guide.
