Job Description

Prometric is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager III, Nurse Aid  with account, program, or project management support experience.

The Program Manager III is responsible for program management of multiple client accounts which are growth clients, or clients exhibiting a high cost to serve for the segment. Manages, tracks, monitors and communicates internally and externally; develops lists of tasks, task owners, milestones, dependencies, and risks integrated into project plans that will meet the needs of the clients; facilitates completion of projects on time and within budget.

This position manages multiple, simultaneous projects and clients, and coordinates internal and external resources for those projects and clients.  The Program Manager organizes, resources, and manages the internal and external multi-disciplinary teams for Nurse Aide client programs. May serve as Project Manager on larger or highly complex projects related to process improvement and/or reduction of cost to serve.

This position requires the ability to manage relationships with clients, off-site operations work stream owners, and Nurse Aide Evaluators (constituents) to ensure all operational processes are adhered to in accordance with contractual requirements and segment revenue/margin objectives.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Leads Nurse Aide Evaluator Recruitment, Contracting, Retention, & Engagement processes with focus on effective staff utilization to meet clients’ delivery requirements
  • Collaboratively work with Client Services Team to translate client’s business needs into operational deliverables to meet revenue and margin objectives; Achievement of program technical and cost objectives; responsible for managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance of program.
  • Responsible for facilitating clients’ operational requirements through the organization resulting in cost effective and efficient delivery of clients test to candidate constituency;  Organizes and coordinates activities of team that may include test development/publication, technology development, configuration management, channel operations planning & execution management, to effect program efficiency and economy
  • Establishes strong working relationship with clients’ operational peers in support of timely & relevant operational-based data reporting
  • Engages operational peers to drives continuous improvement to internal work flows, costs, systems, and process within operational functions with focus on consistent delivery of client contractual requirements & SLAs
  • Responsible for leading operational-based implementation of new clients or product/service expansion of existing clients
  • Mentors & trains other Program Management staff in segment
  • Identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
  • Plans, develops, and implements team policies and goals
  • Creates project plan(s) which includes process definition and risk management plan(s)
  • Analyzes team estimates against program goals and cost objectives, and allocates operating budget
  • Tracks program progress and communicates to all levels of management
  • Assists account team with operational pricing related to RFP, RFQ, etc.
  • Communicates effectively with client, project team, and management team; to include program review presentations, status reports, and In Progress
  • Review presentations
  • In a matrix organization, facilitates deliverables through a multidisciplinary team.
  • Analyzes team estimates against program goals and cost objectives, and allocates operating budget

Candidate Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree from a four-year college or university or
  • 8-12  years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both education and experience
  • 8-12 years Program or Project Management experience
  • Technical, quality management, or business “owner” program experience
  • Experience in building and managing cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Superior knowledge of standard planning tools (MS Project, Excel, Visio, etc.)
  • Worked in complex business systems and able to break down in to logical work processes & deliverables
  • Organized, able to manage multiple tasks with appropriate priorities
  • Superior communication skills; succinctly articulates business progress, issues, challenges, & resolutions
  • Assumes responsibility & ownership of work product and deliverables
  • Six Sigma experience
  • Approximately 5-10% US travel may be required
